So what is this Dance... thingy?
DDR is a very simple game.... In fact, most people agree its one of the easiest game out there. No you can't really "beat" the game. Its just to have fun. DDR is easily recognized in many arcades and is very popular in some places. Around where I live there are only a few machines to play on. Oops, i forgot to explain it.....

This is the DDR dance pad... Looks simple enough... When you step on the arrows they register to the machine. AINT THAT COOL?!

This is the DDR screen as you see it on the TV. The arrows at the top are called the "Step Zone". The other arrows are scrolling up the screen. 4 different ones. When they reach one of the arrows in the "Step Zone" you must step on the corresponding arrow on the dance pad. Easy enough eh?
For each step you get a grade that flashes under it once it crossed the step zone. If you hit it with perfect timing you get a "Perfect". If you were slightly off then you get a "Great". If you pretty close they give you a "Good". If you almost got it then you get a "Almost. And if you completely miss it you get a "Boo".
Getting "Boo's" and "Almost's" depletes your bar at the far top. Once the bar depletes fully, you fail and it is game over. But don't worry you can fill it up befor it reaches the end by hitting correct steps!

Here is what a DRR machine looks like. They have many versions though so they all don't look EXACTLY the same. This particular version is the newest version with the most songs. So watch for this one.
